Despite
all appearances, as demonstrated by the steady decline in
the health of Americans and the steady rise in health
care expenditures, employers and health care providers
have never been highly motivated to control health care.
The existing culture, politics, and financial dynamics
that govern health care delivery systems are not
strategically designed to comphresively reduce or
eliminate benefit costs. Arguably, getting employers and
health care providers to develop a cost effective health
care delivery system is analogous to getting the U.S. the
move from fossil fuels to environmentally safe fuels.

health care premiums to drop anytime soon either! |
