Note: Reuse is more ethical than shredding. If possible, we request permission to refurbish hard drives for low-income families and this sanitization process (wiping drive instead of shredding) is just as good as shredding while also enabling companies to be "good corporate citizens" to share technologies with low-income families and individuals.
OUR PROCESS
  1. We assess the condition of all devices to determine the most effective method for reuse, sanitization, or destruction.
  2. We conduct the physical destruction or sanitization of devices in compliance with NAID*.
  3. We validate the physical destruction or sanitization of devices.
  4. We again validate (quality assurance) the physical destruction or sanitization of devices.
  5. You receive a destruction report certificate confirming the physical destruction or sanitization of devices.

*National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA Certification requirements and comply with NIST 800-88, the current US Government standard for data destruction produced in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
